Room was fantastic. This is a castle. We stayed in a castle, very exciting and romantic. Huge, I mean huge bathroom, comfortable bed, shutters to keep out the sunshine, quiet, excellent restaurant. Wished we had more than 1 night here.
Kind of out of the way, but we knew that ahead of time.
Beautiful old chateau that has been nicely renovated and landscaped. The dinner and breakfast are particularly good.
Small room. Charged 10 eur for baby cot.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the motorways. The main building as well as the grounds look beautiful. Breakfast was good and parking free.
I think I expected a bit more of the room (in the orangerie). Also, one criterion for choosing this hotel was their restaurant, which we unfortunately never had the chance to test because it was fully booked. The next closest restaurant was in Le Mans.
The building looks impressive on arrival and reception girl was really driendly and helpful.
The reception looked like a YMCA! After arriving at such an impressive building, the interior is modern and has been replaced with a contempory hotel fit out.The room was fine, but lacked any period features, cheap carpet. Road nearby which could be heard at night. Expensive for what it offers.
Very quiet, very pretty exterior and grounds. Interior very modern. Family room very spacious and good value. Free on site parking.
Breakfast expensive, dinner menu not great and expensive, hardly any toilet roll provided - it was like it was rationed!
The night staff were very helpful ans assisted us.
On arrival there was no one to be found for 15 minutes. Breakfast had not been cleared from resteraunt and it was 3.30pm. Staff member was rude and did not assist in looking at other accomodation stays in Paris with Best Western. Spoke on personal call while we waited and we had to drive into town to get assistance. Not good and breakfast trays were also scattered in front of room in halls from the morning and in front of our room. We took pictures of this.
Lovely building, great location.
The interior of this great building lets the whole thing down. It has been renovated in a totally inappropriate style which grates. There is no air conditioning. Lack of comfortable public spaces/seating areas.
poor accomodation lack of facilities not the best menue for dinner lack of choice i could go on
Lovely staff, very helpfull. Even understood our scottish accents. Lovely setting.breakfast was superb.
The rooms in the orangerie are a bit compact. However the shower and toilet had room to move. The chairs in the dinning room are very French. I.E. stylish and impractical, not comfortable for lingering in after the meal.
Dinner was excellent but a little expensive with current exchange rates
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal was absolutely delicious.
The interior decor of this beautiful chateux is completely wrong! The furnishings were all very out of place and offered no comfort at all. It spoils the ambience of this beautiful building.
Like: When you first arrive "it's a chateaux!!!!" The grounds, quiet, relaxing, not at very busy (August), view from the bedroom window.
Dislike: When you go inside "they've ruined the chateaux!" It's like a travellodge inside, the food (please get a decent chef), the chairs and cutlery in the restaurant (yes cutlery, it's almost unusable). Fix all these and it would be worth the price. I would however recommend it if you eat out.
The setting, the grounds and the Chateau: beautiful! The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful.
The room was situated in an outbuilding, at ground floor level. Though the room itself was spotlessly clean and very well appointed, there were no windows and no air conditioning. During the night, I had to get up and open the door several times to get some fresh air. I asked to be moved to another room the next morning and the staff were very pleased to help. There was a window in the new room but it was still on the ground floor and was a potential security risk.
The building is a beautiful small chateau in spacious grounds. Very comfortable rooms and a good restaurant.
bedroom was good and beds comfortable
Food was terrible
